Alright, I finished the slide show. It's about 110 megs, and 5 minutes long.(Windows media format.) It looks pretty good, and is a bit more entertaining than just stationary slides. I'll upload it to a file sharing site when it's done rendering.

Are you going to have a projector or just a laptop screen?

over 800 people came throught the show. The Tommy got allot of action! Overall we got 20ish interested e-mails and allot of people are going to check us out. Thanks to those who let us borrow their guns. We took up a table and a 1/2 with all of them. We got allot of strange looks stanging there in full gear.

No power meant no slideshow..bummer but thanks anyway guys.

Woowee, that was a lot of positive exposure. I am a little bummed that we didn't have power, I had downloaded a bunch of videos and we had those slide shows. Still, I don't think we would have had anytime to set them up anyways, it was non-stop talking all day for us, we each took an end of the table and talked all day.

Hopefully this gun show will afford us some positve exposure and a good reputation with the local Rod & Gun. We are invited to go to the Heritage Day Shoot in June again (last year apparently went over well Razz

).

Overall, I am happy with the cooperation of the Rod&Gun with our club. Though both sports are different, we are welcomed as guests and that kind of support is comforting to have in PG.

Damm Doug, I really have to show you how to wear a boonie !! Never, ever use the string...this thing goes on your neck at the base of the skull.

Bah, that gear is so mismatch anyways. I might have well been wearing a pink tutu.

Got any more info on proper boonie wearing? A link, or detailed lesson. I really do prefer the boonie to the helmet. It would be nice to do it properly.

Bwa ha ha ha, you don't know half of the story. Seriously, what were some of those people doing at a gun show? Some of the people passing by were not allowed to touch even the airsoft guns due to it violating their parole...

I am glad that Dave and I went, it continued to strengthen our connection to the Rod&Gun club and show how NIA is a responsible Airsoft Club in the eyes of the gun community.

One another note, anyone available to do the heritage day? If I am in town, I will set up another shooting range, only this year I think I will charge...

My dpm boonie has little hang down tabs with the string hole so I usually just tuck the string up under the hat because the tabs are annoying hanging down beside my ears. I've seen the string worn over the top of the hat holding it in a shape like a cowboy hat / Aussie bush hat on some of the shows on the military channel, is that just on TV?
