Gun Show

The rod and gun club is doing a gun and antique show next Saturday and Sunday at the civic center:

If you come and watch the booth please feel free to wear full gear. I am getting the rules for bringing in guns. If you would like to come but don't know much or feel nervous doing it alone I can pair you up with someone who knows what they are talking about. If noone signs up for Sunday I will simply take down the booth Saturday night.

There is security there plus us watching the table so don't worry about your gear walking away without you.

I will collect guns/gear this week if people are willing to let the club borrow them. They must be in a box or a case for me to take them. We will use them at the show then you can pick them up next week.

we're there, I'll try and do some footwork to get a table set-up, anyone want to make a slide show from the photobucket account and I can use my laptoop to play it.

We can set-up some shifts for people to man the table so one person isn't there all day. I can't make it sunday.

Boy, I hope this goes better than the last table we had for a gun show... $40 of BB's and no help... grumble grumble...

I still have the PGAirsoft Banner, guess we can always make another one...

Hey guys I already made a slide show before I left. I left a copy with Jason. I'll pm horton with how to get a hold of Jason (Spacious Shamous).

Ok we have a table, I am going to make a schedule for people to look after the table. Count me in for Saturday but I need someone to cover for sunday. Please post if you are willing to help out. Those who cover the table for a significant amount of time will get a $5 NIA credit. I am making a list of times to cover.

Heck, I will skip the $5 credit if I am in town, give me a game attendance credit

Are we allowed to bring guns to show as demonstration? Or set up a shooting box?

here we go,

Guns are allowed but no ammo...I am going to say batteries must be out as well. For gas guns mags but no BBs. I am going to wear my full gear with belaclava.

This is a huge venue for us to get members.

table is 8' by 2 1/2'

Did you get a hold of Jason about the slide show?

If he can't get a hold of Jason, I can whip up a quick one thats a little more than just changing pictures- like moving and panning through pictures etc.

I'd love to have a few different options for slide shows anyway. If you do make one Jackboot try and make sure there are no or few plain clothes shots. I just took 109 pics of photobucket and they are fair to great quality.

Like I said Jason has the one I already made for this kind of thing. I pmd his # to horton.

Billy I think he knows that, Horton just posted saying that a little variety would be a good thing...

What would the rules state about poping off an empty C02 grenade? It makes a pop but that is about all. Good attention getter...
