| I need your help for the coming MilSim. I want to give a map of the gamezone to everyboby but my knowledge of the area is small. So can someone draw a map of the zone ? I need from the parking point (road junction) to buster 2(village). Can be just hand-draw with roads, junctions, constructions, landmarks... Doesn't need to be too accurate : it's just to help team coordination and referee job as well as meeting points, respawn point etc ... The sooner the better ! thanks | |

| There is a fair distance between Busters 1 and 2, I am not sure how well we can play with the two (as one area) without having some sort of vehicle transport between the two.

| of course, with a ten hour game, what's an hour walk anyways? Might make the movement a bit more realistic and make people gear-up correctly. Ingore my vehicle comment.

| Doug, I am going to send you a pdf map that I sent to Nick. I can see that there is a difference between your map and my map as to where we think Busters II is. | |

| sound good, I will double check your coords to the maps.
I might just be one of those swamps, which in that case, yeah... 800m to 2.3km...

| Well, it is now 2.4km from parking at buster one to staging area of busters two. Yeah, I guess that lake was actually more of a swamp. Good find there Buddley. That is one heck of a walk and area to cover. -Doug | |

Maybe 10 minutes if we drive to the deactivation. It's quite a ways from the old sawmill site though.

| Hey guys, to walk from Busters one to Busters two is about close to 10-15 km, it's a good 15 minute dirtbike at good speed, and it's a hell of a lot slower walking, I know that area quite well, and as I am unable to come to the milsim, coaching commitments (last weekend though yay!) I could draw up some stuff. If anyone can meet me out there this weekend at any time, call me 967-4216, especially someone with a gps, that way we can coord it. But if not, Frag, PM me where you are thinking of playing, and if you are thinking total area, I can throw something together for you! | |

Buddley already brought the GPS out and we got the coords, thank you though. The above map is correct with the 2.4 km, though the additional twists and turn may make it a bit longer (the the road bars do not help either). Having remeasured with near road precision, the road is over 2.5km. That is measuring from the exact parking in Busters One to the place where we dump our bags at Busters Two. As seen in the following air photo, you can clearly see the two fields in which we play. White is small growth and cleared (play areas), gray is regrowth and mid cover (we don't play), and dark is heavy evergreen growth. This demonstrates how small our fields are compared to the overall area, but seen in the 1:5000 scale airphoto map, it really is not all too bad. -Doug
