Alright, for what it's worth, I'm a first year student at UNBC. Saw a poster for this on campus the other day and would love to get in on it. I have no gear to speak of, and no transportation off of UNBC besides public buses and my own two feet. So...How do I get in on this?

Tranportation can be arranged for game days, I live on 15th and Ospika and can help you out when I'm back intown on the 26th. Our season has slowed down as winter is finally here.

This is a pricey sport to get into as guns cost 400-600 used but you can get a woodland gear set for around 100 or less.

OK, it's late...Forgot to mention that my name is Mike, I'm 19. I have a little paint ball experience and no airsoft experience whatsoever. I have been an army enthusiast for years now. For what it's worth, I know a lot of the gear, terms and the like.

I'm not from BC. I'm actually from Ontario, out here studying Outdoor Recreation and Tourism Management. I love the outdoors, spent a week hiking in the mountains north of Dawson City last August...just to give you an idea of me.

As for gear, well I'm a university student...money is not exactly one of those things I have in great abundance. Is there any way I could borrow, for lack of a better word, enough to get me started?

The best advice to learn about airsoft is by coming out to a game. You can read reviews and the news on airsoft until the cows come home but you'll learn 100 times more by talking to someone in person. Rentals are cheap so find sometime to come out... just don't go buying some crappy gun from Wal-mart or Canadian Tire
