CO2 VS Propane

Just want to know for my next purchase.

if u do greengas u can do propane which is HELLA cheaper than greengas i think cantire has three for 15.00 which should last a long time... but o2 cartridges are reletively cheap... personally id go wtih greengas just cuz u can use propane and usually as ive seen they are easier to come by

I'm polar opposite here, I prefer co2 simply because it doesn't freeze up as fast as propane and you can use it in cooler weather.

Well I saw a video and the guy used Co2 in his KJW M9 and it was cracking the back of the outer barrel. H e said it was because the Co2 was to high pressure. Vote what one you think is better.

I'd go with the co2 mags. I believe with that specific c02 for the berreta you can use both green gas and c02 in the same magazine

green gas can freeze up in the middle of summer, but its u r money. I've had one and was not impressed, at least I can rattle through 3 30 shot clips on co2 and no freezing.

Can someone gice me the Pros 'n Cons of Green Gas and Co2! I'm getting confused.

well I wouls suggest you check with Jeff Baker of capital airsoft, he has a supply of co2 mags for certain green gas guns. Thar way you can buy a gun on GG and have a co2 mag kicking around.

CO2 doesn't have as much 'cool' down effect as green gas (propane) does.

CO2 also doesn't react to cold (i.e. -19) temperatures as much either. However, CO2 is much harder on the gun itself and if the gun wasn't specifically made for CO2 you're going to know. The plastic and metal that most GBB's are made out of shouldn't be used with CO2.

My vote would be to go with propane (green gas) because its cheaper, and not quite as hard on your gun. If your really stuck on CO2 get a NBB.

Depends on the ambient temperature. Generally I run a KSC G18c with propane for indoors or for outdoor summer games. I have a couple WE hicapas and a couple cheap NBB gas pistols that I use with CO2 mags during winter outside games.
