July 19 - 2009 OKA BC

Hello airsofters,
This will be a scenario based game.

The Olympics start in two weeks and a first nations band has blocked a major highway and are demanding a conclusion to their treaty talks.

The RCMP ERT team has taken control of negotiating the surrender of the warriors.

The military has been called in to assist the RCMP.

The police and military must be very carefull as they do not want another OKA or the bad press that it brought in 1990. The First Nations band do not want to hurt anyone or get hurt but do want their treaty talks over and done with, and hope that with the olympics so close and their roadblock close to vancouver that they will force the governments hand and get a settlement.

Teams based on camo:

police: at least 2 piece tactical black/blue, urban camo, or tac tiger.

military: cadpat or marpat

first nations: all other camo or mixed camo

Day: Sunday july 19 2009
Time: First nations 1000 all others 1100
Place: Busters field

Bring snacks and water

We will need a couple of saw horses or plywood for the baricade if anyone can help out please give me a shout.

If you can make it please let me know and what type of camo you will be wearing.

All further info will be supplied at the game during the briefing.

This is somewhat of a test to design games, I do have a big one planned for late summer, early fall but will need lots of time to set it up and maybee even run it over two days, we shall see.

That sounds like fun...I think I can make it. I will try to bring along another 2 noobs. We can all be Oka or one of us could be military.

ok sorry last time ill spam this post i forgot to tell its me and two others all on the mixed camo/aboriginal team

well so far we have 11 confirmed for sure. and with the unconformed I am assuming we should have around 20.

the plan is to play this scenario till one side rides victorious then to have a snack and play some capture the flag, if anyone feels like staying at this point.

We have 6 confirmed for First Nations
5 confirmed for military
and have heard some are comming out but have not yet confirmed so it is on for tommorw. I am heading out to busters at about 0930.

So far the weather forcast is good, overcast and 23 C with possiblility of rain in the evening.

bring food, water, and bug repellant.

I will have some ics bb's for sale at the game as well as a couple of other goodies.
