Anyone live or lived in these locations?

* Pleasant Camp (BC)
* Stewart (BC)
* Fraser (BC)
* Beaver Creek (YT)

If I pass my interview then I'll be stationed in one of those locations and just want some more info. So far I'm leaning towards Stewart since it's pretty much seems to be the best choice. I also figured that since that allot of members here are from the North that some might be up in these places.

Pass your interview for what?

Canadian Border Service Agency (CBSA) as a Border Officer. I've pass the first two stages and I only have two more stages to pass.

1. Education/Experience Check
2. Hardest Written Test Ever
3. Interview
4. 9 weeks of training in Quebec

Hmm my best friend from high school did that as a summer job and it turned into a career. 15 years later and he is still doing it.

Yeah starting wage is somewhere around $65k a year which isn't too bad plus a really superb benefits package! Also if I get sent to one of the remote northern locations I can paid extra for being so isolated and then get a income tax brake from Canada for it as well so a person could really clean house for a year or two if you don't mind being in a town of only 12 people! (Pleasant Camp had only 12 residents of 2001 and Fraser only has CBSA and Highways Employees only, no businesses or residents)
