Ebaybanned the 4th

My scope ( the exact same one ) that I got from ebaybanned came with two sets of rings ( high and low ), although I think he just sent me an extra set to be nice. I had the higher rings mounted on the G3/Mp5 scope mount first, but couldn't get the scope set right to shoot high enough to meet the crosshairs. I installed the lower rings. With the rear sight removed ( which you don't need anyway if you use the scope ), there is just enough clearance to keep that bad boy 50mm lens on the gun, and just slightly raised off the length of the gun. Sighted in fine, and looks awesome on a large gun like the SG1. Hope you get yours soon.

the only thing Im worried about is that my bipod wont come with a rail adapter lol

zach I got the laser working and you forgot your rail riser.

What a clusterfluff! By the way, my scope is about the same length as the G36c with the stock folded. With out the longer barrel this thing looks retarded.

yeah most scopes are pretty useless on airsoft guns and something like an aimpoint is the way to go. Even on my H&K 416CT project a scope kinda looks silly but the gun still has a ways to come first such as a tightbore, silencer, etc. It's also the reason what I wanted the fullstock version and not the collapsible stock.

If it has a sunshade on the scope you might want to try taking that off to make the scope shorter. I know my scope is 3 inches shorter without the sunshade.

Yeah...I've heard the argument about the scope not necessary for airsoft.
But for spotting it is awesome. Besides it looks cool ( on a large gun anyway ).
I can see the bbs very well travelling to the crosshairs through my scope.

Now if I can only figure out how to upload pics...

What I meant is on an airsoft gun with a very short barrel you wont be making precise shots with a scope. Even with long barreled, tightbore, gas sniper rifles you wont get such precise shots.

Now the coolness looking factor is something else.

The coolness factor is about the only thing that I got going with the custom upper mid-rail. The rear stock will be filled and fiberglassed for a full stock, then a cheek rest will be made and fitted. The longer outer barrel and a CUSTOM BUILT silencer will be put on it.
