Hey hows everyone doing? I'm extremely interested in your guys group after I got a flyer of you guys in homehardware. Is there any chance that you have been out to the CN pit out in Miworth? That place is huge as there is trees, rocky dunes, hills and lots of brush, if you havent go in the summer. And I was also wondering where do you all pickup your guns? Nothern troutfitters has some but apparently they are really bad and I wont even mention the san Francisco specials, so whats the deal I checked all of the websites posted and only one sells them (warstore) so where do you guys get them?

Welcome to the community, first off.

There are a few places you can go to get guns and gear. These forums have a sales section for used gear, as well as you can try airsoftkelowna.com or airsoftcanada.com. However, for ASC you need to be 18 years of age to order, since you technically need to be 18 to buy an airsoft gun. Elsewise, you will have to get a parent/guardian to buy it for you. Once you do turn 18, though, talk to Hortons_Heros about getting verified, since hes the local verifier. There are also a few people around who do rentals, so you can come try the sport out before dumping hundreds of dollars into your guns and gear.

If your looking for new gear, try 007airsoft.com, buyairsoft.ca, or Dave's Surplus and Tactical...I believe his site is dstactical.com. There are a few other sellers kicking around, so just keep your eyes open. I would advise your first purchase be goggles or a full face mask.

If your ever passing through the Quesnel area, (like the 29th and 1st of March for example) we are usually available for conversation or a quick or long game.

Welcome to the site. Stay away from most clear guns, you get what you pay for. If you are looking to get in for cheap go to E&I and get a Kraken AK (clear body, green stock and grips) I can do some work on it for free so you can play with it indoors and out (FPS limits) and make it a bit more reliable. They are the best bang for you buck in my opinion. Come out to a game and you get more questions answered there in 20 mins than 2 hours on here. We are failry friendly and welcome new players. My name is Dave, I will be gone this coming game but I should be around for march.

18 on march 14. So I guess im buying myself a birthday present. One of the things I enjoy is sniping, so do you think there is anyway to put a scope on the ak or if there is a conversion kit? I researched it and from what I can see is that there is no sight mounts on the gun for scopes, if you know of kits for the Krakken to turn it into a full metal could you give me the lowdown?

For around $100 it could be full metal. Sniping in airsoft take a lot of $$$ for a good sniper and gear. To get a red dot scope on the AK you change the front forgrip for a railed one but it would not work for a distance scope with the eye relief. To get a scope mount that goes off the side of the body is more $$$. Two things that most agree is never buy a gas gun or a sniper to start off with. Both have limited playability.

Right now the best retialer is shootsoft.ca His shipping prices are killer but the gun prices are decent. Jing Gong and Echo 1 are great makers that are clones of the higher end Tokyo Mauri guns.

If you are really interested in sniping I suggest the TSD/Wells VSR-10 clone! Right out of the box it hits a good 450fps and is a TM clone! I picked mine up for $220 after the cost of shipping and I love it!

Check out the Airsoft Guns section to see pics of it!

I suggest against sniping only because its really hard to do. Allot of people who come out with spring sniper rifles go home sad or mad because they are killed so much due to the overwhelming firepower of AEGs.
