So Saturday I walk into the firing range ready to drop another $50 into ammunition when I spy two armed forces in full cadpat standing there listening to the whole safety speech. Kinda ironic if you ask me and I snickered at it (since I was at the range only days before and qualified for everything [plus holster usage] I didn't have to take the "safety speech"). Well one of them heard me and thought I was laughing at them.

Words were exchanged (mostly me apologizing lol) and ...

I just thought I'd announce to our NIA members, that along with Gryph, Spacious_Shamus, and anyone else I've failed to mention (no offence) I've joined the ranks of an emergency volunteer group, the Fort George Highway Rescue Society! Hopefully in a few short months, this "probie" WON'T (but more than likely may) see any of our other volunteers out on PG's backroads and highways, rescuing people from crushed cars and whatnot. Wish me luck!

Rather late and slow start due to some of the members getting tied up in the morning, and others sleeping through alarms.

Day went fairly well, though, and there were alot more BBs flying through the air once we moved the game to West Creek 1 after the bear decided to start grunting at Gryph.

The Kazakstan team was successful in defending all the missile parts stolen from the Russians, even once lowered to 4 players.

inner barrel size, barrel extenders

How big is too big for an innerbarrel? I finally got my g3 inner barrel for my g36c and I think its too short, 469mm or 18" is too small, 12" after the 6" is subtracted because of it being inside the gun. The gun will be used only in single fire mode so there is no worry of a vacuum inside the barrel and the spring that is going in will help create a balance from the inner barrels reduction in velocity from its length.

I was thinking something around a m16 length then ...

Problem with the SAM-R

Ok I was having problems of BB's only flying a couple feet and today, BB's stopped shooting at all. I took the gun apart and pulled out the inner barrel. When I looked in the end of the hopup, there was a BB sitting there. I thought it would just roll out but it wouldn't. When I looked at the end of the barrel there was ANOTHER BB staring me in the face and it to would not roll out of the barrel!

I got a long rod and very softly push the BB down the barrel. The problem was literally 5 BB's ...

Weirdest Jams Ive Ever Seen!

This happened while trying to sort out a Gremlin with the SAM-R!

Yup those are 5 BB's JAMMED into the end of the FLASH HIDER! I took a screw driver and a hammer and STILL the BB's wouldn't unjam! BTW the picture below was taken of the barrel standing STRAIGHT up and me taking the picture down at it.

I finally realized I had to unscrew the flash hider! Once I did that the one BB in the center popped out. The other 4 had to be pried out one and a time! And I am talking using some FORCE ...

i cant help it, i am in love with .45 cal. style pistols. my most recent addition to my weapons cache is the TM SOCOM, its not gas blow back, and its not ful metal, but DAMN! it packs a punch, stock it shoots 330 fps with green gas, i have yeat to chrono it on propane and CO2 but i will and il let you all know how it goes.

to start this review im gona list some fun things about the gun,

Ok just a general question that is trying to be solved about mosfets. Its said that not only does a mosfet give you three round burst but it also

improves battery efficiency

keeps the contacts in the trigger switch from burning out

improves rate of fire (like I said, P90 speeds!)

one long beep when battery life is to low to support the load which

keeps stops damage to your battery and motor. (this beep doesnt stop

TM Mk23 silencer q's.

Here is a a question for someone who owns one, or knows one very well.

I have read that the silencer thread on the TM MK23 is 16mm. The silencer that comes with the gun has an adapter on it that allows that silencer ( normally a 14 mm ) to fit on it. This adapter can be uncrewed and placed on a different silencer to fit on the MK23.

Anyone have 100% info on this?

with the lack of space for a large type battery on my para i was left with minimal options. taped to the outside of the weapon works but is an outright sin as far as appearance goes, same for battery bags. so i decided to mod my box mag to fit the battery. my classic army shell had a damaged tab where it locks onto the weapon so i opted to use my A&K shell and swap the classic army internals.

*mod will not work on A&K box mags as there is not enough room*

Hop Up Maintenance?

Hey Guys, I went out and plunked away at a few noobs the other weekend, and I noticed that my BB's were not even making half the distance they used to. I opened up my gun and looked at my hop up and nothing seems to be the problem. So I was wondering what you guys thought about this. Do I just need to lube it up some? Clean my barrel? Let me know.

Ok so i finally have a decent gun which is quite obviously the well l96 sniper rifle.My problem is that the mags don't like going into or out of the gun anymore.I was wondering what lubricant would be best to fix this problem?

We usually do every second weekend until November with a few more though out games in there.

Wanted to see if people want to do the usual 2 games a month (max I am willing to run) or if we want to do less but with more effort and time into those fewer games.

I am not looking for specific game ideas but how much time we want to commit and when people can give that time up. The easy part is to put a game together story ...

i found it very cumbersome and slow to reach under the box mag to push the auto feed button. so i have come up with my own conversion to a remote pressure switch,along with a pictoral how to:

remove box mag battery before disassembly. batteries not included. some parts not for use with some sets, field sold seperately. (lol)

remove ammo cover and remove the two small screws holding the feed tube.

gently squeeze the two halves together and slide them upward. ...
